We are sorry to see you go. If you wish to permanently delete your Stuloop account and all associated data, you can do so directly from within the mobile app, or by email if you can no longer access the app.

Option 1 — From the app (fastest)

What happens when you delete your account?

• Your profile, including your username and display name, will be permanently removed.
• Your uploaded content (videos and images) will be deleted.
• Your messages and chat history will be removed from our active servers.
• You will be removed from all study groups.

Option 2 — Without the app (email request)

If you cannot access the app — for example you uninstalled it, changed devices, or lost your password — you can still request deletion by email:

1. Email support@stuloop.com from the email address registered to your account.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my Stuloop account” and mention your username if you remember it.
3. We verify the request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days, and confirm by reply.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted permanently: your profile (username, display name, bio, profile picture), your login credentials, uploaded videos and images, your messages and chat history, your call history, your device push tokens, and your follows, likes and group memberships.
• Kept for a limited time: copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten. A minimal record of the deletion (for example an abuse-prevention log, or a record we are legally required to keep) may be retained where the law requires it.
• Timeline: in-app deletion takes effect immediately on our active servers; email requests are processed within 30 days.

Note: This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data.
